Apple Canada is Living In 2002 - That sucks!

September 21, 2007

So I got my .mac renewal today from Apple Canada:

Check it out. The service is going to cost me $139.00. In the US it costs $99. An Exchange rate of 1.4000. Last I checked the exchange rate for Canadian / US dollars was let's see $1.0000.

APPLE CANADA, You suck and I am not renewing.

Giddy-up!

Yet another instance of Canadians paying grab-your-ankles prices. Kudos for refusing to pay. Double kudos if you send an email to Apple and point them to the exchange rate. The price differential is finally getting more attention in the Canadian press. Let's see if it makes a difference. There really is no excuse especially for online merchandise. Sigh....glad to be home.
