As a Canadian, we share a lot of similar values and culture with our American counterparts to the south. Americans are our closest allies, biggest trading partner, and generally our best friends (when we ain't arguing over softwood lumber, and the Iraq war), but the one thing I guess I will never understand about our neighbour to the south is the need to own guns, and to kill animals for 'sport'. Important note for those jumping to conclusions: I am not a vegitarian, or a communist.

Anyway, my dismay over "Sport Hunting" reached new heights with this news story, about how Troy Lee Gentry, of the country singing duo Montgomery Gentry, has killed a tame bear, but claimed it was wild so that he could have a trophy! How fucked up is that?

Maybe it is "Time To Get A Gun".
